Akin's 1st Law

Akin’s 1st Law states,

Engineering is done with numbers. Analysis without numbers is only an opinion.

Although an opinion, I’ll share it anyway: any organization that refuses to make data-driven decisions, or makes changes based purely on non-expert opinion, is not worth your time.
