Sometimes called “tribal knowledge”, cultures that pass down important knowledge orally are hard as hell to scale. As Mr. Hale states in [1], an emic account is the, “epistemological equivalent of a gravity well”.

Write it down to help your future teammates. Get it baked into code, or configuration, or anything that is durable and maintainable over time. Please.
